In recognition of May as Mental Health Awareness Month, Adams, Lawrence, and Scioto County CIT program, Shawnee Family Health Center, and the Scioto County Suicide Prevention Coalition is proud to offer the second annual 1st Responder Wellness Conference, an event dedicated to promoting the mental health and well-being of first responders in our community.

 

The conference is also sponsored by the Behavioral Health Board of Adams, Lawrence and Scioto County. 

 

This year’s event will be held on May 19 at 901 Washington Street in Portsmouth, Ohio. All first responders—current or retired—are encouraged to register, including physicians, nurses, police officers, veterans, EMTs, firefighters, dispatchers, corrections officers, probation officers, chaplains, clinicians, co-responders, and others working in public safety. Attendance is limited to 50 participants, and advance registration is required to ensure adequate food and wellness materials are available.
