Treatment Specialist III 📍 Location: Scioto County – School-Based Services 🧑‍💼 Position Title: Licensed Counselor / Social Worker 📚 Education Requirement: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree with appropriate licensure 🎓 Licensure Required: LSW, LPC, or higher 💰 Pay Range: $45,000 – $60,000 Position Overview Shawnee Mental Health Center is seeking a dedicated Licensed Counselor or Social Worker to join our school-based team in Scioto County. This role involves conducting behavioral health assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with families, schools, and support systems to deliver high-quality, compassionate care to youth. Key Responsibilities Complete both brief and comprehensive behavioral health assessments. Develop, update, and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with agency protocols. Educate clients and their support systems about behavioral health diagnoses to promote understanding and engagement. Conduct suicide risk assessments using agency-approved tools for at-risk clients. Identify treatment gaps and determine appropriate services for clients and families. Collaborate with clients and families to create safety plans as needed.
